Battersea tour for RAD Gazette

I had the pleasure to illustrate an amazing piece for the Royal Academy of Dance digital Gazette – written by the brilliant writer (and Guardian contributor) Veronica Horwell, this feature article also includes a podcast of the historical tour walk that’s been produced for the occasion.

It’s not very often that the RAD changes headquarters and the editorial of the June issue wanted to mark the event and celebrate the rich past and architecture of this popular London borough.

From the old Battersea Power Station through Battersea Park, this piece takes you to the high street, the bridges over the river Thames and century old buildings, to the new development the RAD is located (digital only and with subscription)
